Boys’ & Girls Clubs of Edmonton Fund

Boys and Girls Clubs Big Brothers Big Sisters (BGCBigs) is a community-supported organization committed to the healthy development of children, youth, and their families by providing safe places, positive relationships, services, and opportunities to develop personal strengths and interpersonal skills that enhance their long-term success in life. BCGBigs Mentoring and After-School programs seek to support vulnerable children and youth challenged by the impacts of poverty. The organization also works in partnership with other community organizations to develop and deliver programs geared to specific populations, such as the immigrant and refugee community, the Indigenous community, and other vulnerable groups (e.g. LGBTQ youth).

Boys’ and Girls’ Clubs of Edmonton Fund’ was created in 1999 through the Edmonton Community Foundation in order to serve the long-term plans of the organization in support of these life changing programs for children and youth in the greater Edmonton area.  BGCBigs Club programs offer site-based after-school program options in neighborhood club sites and schools. These programs offer safety, positive youth development activities and academic enrichment to support positive self-image and self-confidence, improved academic performance, and engagement in learning.

BGCBigs has been trusted with this service for over 50 years and will continue to do so for many, many more. By leaving a donation and trusting us with this important work, we will continue to walk alongside these children in their journey.
