Carl Lamoureux Conservation Fund

Carl Lamoureux, a man of infectious laughter and many smiles, was born on December 8, 1986. Raised in the Lamoureux hamlet—originally settled by his ancestors in 1872—Carl was a man of the land, always maintaining a strong connection to the soil beneath his feet. As a young boy he went outside and he never came back indoors. If he wasn’t found high in a tree, he was likely kayaking, sailing, hiking, fishing or, once he was old enough, hunting.

This fund honours Carl’s deep love of the outdoors by supporting conservation efforts to preserve the land he called home. Through this work, it ensures that future generations can continue to experience and appreciate the natural environment that meant so much to him.

Our endowment funds support emerging and priority needs in the greater Edmonton community, now and for generations to come. Donate to a fund
