Crooked Creek Conservancy Society of Athabasca (CCCSA) is a registered charity, incorporated in 1996, created to promote Citizen Science and nature conservation in the greater Athabasca area by engaging residents in events, conservation easements, and membership opportunities.
The Crooked Creek Conservancy Society of Athabasca Operating Fund supports CCCSA work in achieving its goals of securing, managing and protecting land for environmental and social purposes, establishing community ownership and stewardship of land and its biological diversity, providing community awareness, education, and participation in maintaining nature habitat. wilderness areas, and expressing an appreciation of nature.
