iHuman Youth Society is a unique and vital space in Edmonton where hope, healing, and possibility unite to uplift the entire community.
For nearly 30 years, we have built a legacy of trust with youth who are navigating complex challenges like trauma, homelessness, systemic racism, food insecurity and mental health struggles. At iHuman, youth are not defined by their past, they are empowered to heal, create and build their futures.
What sets us apart is our unwavering commitment to community care, creativity, and connection. Through art, mentorship, and culturally responsive support, we foster a deep sense of belonging, resilience, and long-term stability, not just for youth, but for the health and future of our entire city.
Our newest initiative, Career Hub, extends this impact even further. Designed for youth up to age 30, Career Hub provides practical workforce readiness supports such as resume building, financial literacy, interview preparation, and professional mentorship. But it’s more than job prep — it’s a bridge to economic empowerment and long-term stability, built on the foundation of trust we’ve cultivated with youth over nearly three decades.
At iHuman, we don’t just support youth. We amplify their voices and stand alongside them as they shape not only their own paths, but a stronger, more compassionate Edmonton for all.
