The Lieutenant Governor of Alberta Arts Awards Foundation celebrates and champions exceptional Alberta artists at both emerging and distinguished artist levels. The intent and purpose of the Arts Awards Fund is to fund awards that recognize outstanding artistic achievement in any art discipline based on criteria that includes:
- a)Outstanding achievement in the arts over a career or for a significant body of work;
- b)Significant impact on the arts in Alberta.
