Norwood Child & Family Resource Centre Fund
At Norwood Child and Family Resource Centre, we believe every child has a right to develop to their fullest potential, and every parent should have access to the knowledge and skills they need to help make that happen—regardless of income or any other barrier. Since 1963, Norwood has been supporting optimal child development in some of Edmonton’s most economically and socially challenged neighbourhoods. We provide programs and services that support children directly – for example, with our Parent Respite Program – and indirectly, by providing parents/caregivers with parenting classes, in-home visits, mental health support, community connections, and more. Our vision statement is ‘Healthy Children – Healthy Families – Healthy Communities’ because we know that our investment in children and their families today leads directly to more resilient and prosperous communities tomorrow.
