The intent and purpose of the Fund is to enhance the quality of life for those living in the greater Edmonton area by supporting Qualified Donees that carry out charitable activities and/or programs to support and/or undertake research regarding the causes, prevention, detection, diagnoses, treatments, effective supports and/or possible cures for illnesses, disabilities and/or chronic health conditions, giving highest priority to Qualified Donees that focus on cancer research, treatment, prevention and/or support.
