Shannon’s Fund for Dementia Research was created to honour mother, grandmother, sister, wife and friend, Shannon Heemeryck. Diagnosed with semantic dementia in 2016 at the age of 59, the fund aims to ensure her legacy of caring and compassion for others continues. We invite friends and family to contribute to the fund to help further dementia research and support charities that can help others like Shannon who have been affected by dementia far too young.
