There are not enough words to describe the legend that is Gary Dayanandan. To know Gary is to love him, and more importantly, to be loved by him. No one was a stranger around Gary because he immediately made you feel welcome, loved, and safe with a kind smile or a well-timed joke.
He was a culinary artist in every sense of the word and poured his creative talents into flavours and designs than won him numerous culinary accolades. His career took him all over Europe and across Canada but he was most at home near the mountains, in Switzerland, Fernie BC, or the Alberta Rockies.
Gary loved fiercely with his whole heart, and he had a special love for children and animals. The Gary Dayanandan Legacy Fund will continue support causes that meant the most to Gary so a little piece of his love will live on forever.
