Funds In Memory

Ronan’s Stargazer Fund

Ronan’s Stargazer Fund

Ronan died 3 weeks before his 12th birthday.

Spontaneously, quietly, and devastatingly.  Ronan was preparing to enter junior high, and planning his (self-described) most epic birthday party ever, during his “best summer ever”.

Ronan lived big, and laughed even bigger. He packed more into those almost 12 years than many people experience in a lifetime.

Ronan had an incredible imagination and a huge heart. HE was a Thinker, Builder, fixer, inventor, avid reader and dreamer. Ronan was a HELPER.

Ronan was very empathetic – whether he was lending his prized blankie to an upset classmate in pre-school, or giving a “big squisher” hug to someone he thought needed one, he led with his heart.

We are very supportive of the Stollery Hospital. The care that Ronan received at the Stollery was outstanding. His little sister, Mirenn, spent the first month of her life in the Stollery, and also received amazing care.

Ronan would be very proud to know that this fund will help other kids with medical conditions, with a priority focus on neurology and cardiology patients.

This fund is a memorial legacy for our boy, who is gone far too soon.
