BILD EDMONTON METRO
Trade Scholarship Endowment Fund
Build the future of homebuilding. | Support the next generation of skilled trades.
BILD Edmonton Metro is proud to launch the BILD Edmonton Metro Trade Scholarship Endowment Fund — supporting individuals pursuing post-secondary education in homebuilding and construction.
This fund builds on the ERHC Trade Scholarship Fund, established by CHBA – Edmonton Region and championed by the late Larry Anderson and Burke Perry. Their commitment to workforce development lives on through this initiative.
Governance
The endowment is guided by a Patron’s Advisory Group that includes founder Burke Perry, along with Stephen Anderson and Wesley Gunderson as founder representatives, and Courtney Jensen and Lana Read representing BILD Edmonton Metro.
How the Fund is Supported
The fund is sustained through proceeds from BILD Edmonton Metro’s annual golf tournaments, along with contributions from members and the broader community through the Edmonton Community Foundation.
Why It Matters
This initiative supports the next generation of skilled professionals, strengthens the homebuilding workforce, and creates accessible pathways into construction careers — helping ensure the long-term success of our industry.
Get Involved
Members and partners are encouraged to support the fund through donations and participation in fundraising initiatives. Each year, BILD Edmonton Metro will share opportunities to get involved and highlight the impact of scholarship recipients — demonstrating the lasting value of investing in people.
