This endowment fund was created in memory of Sharon Lynne Henderson in recognition of her life-long love of, and advocacy for, Canadian literature. Sharon lived in Calgary all of her adult life and was a valued member of the literary community, including actively participating in the Doris Govier Canadian Literature Group.
Donations to this fund will be used to support the participation of a young or emerging writer in our annual mentorship program. The goal of this fund is to support, in perpetuity, the creative and professional development of young or emerging Alberta writers, a very important component in nurturing the future of Canadian literature.
We are grateful for donors’ support to ensure the longevity of this endowment fund. Your generosity makes a valuable difference in furthering the recognition and promotion of Alberta’s literary talent.
