Imagine a final gift with infinite possibility.

Imagine a final gift with infinite possibility.

Leaving a legacy

Seanna Collins first learned about ECF in the 1990s — not as a donor, but as a journalist. While hosting Day by Day, CFRN TV, she interviewed two of our founders, Robert Stollery and John Poole. That conversation stayed with her.

It inspired Seanna and her husband to include ECF in their will. They won’t see the impact of their endowment during their lifetime, but they have planted something that will grow long after — a gift that keeps giving to the causes they care about.

They are one of 724 people and families who have chosen to support their communities in perpetuity through their estate plans. It’s a quiet, profound act of belief in the future – and in the Edmonton yet to come.

“It makes me so happy to know that long after my husband and I are gone, our fund will continue to grow and make a difference. That’s the legacy we are very proud to leave.”
